MPS Learning Center is now fully loaded with required training for the 2016 summer season. As a seasonal employee taking your training on-line you should complete the following training:
Blood Borne Pathogens for Seasonal Employees and Volunteers - required annually
Portable Fire Extinguisher Training - required annually
EEO-Sexual Harassment - required annually
Driver Training - required if you operate a State vehicle
Globally Harmonized System of Chemical Classification - supplemental training to the park's hazard communication training. If you are a returning seasonal employee and have had this training you do not need to take it again. However, you should complete the park's hazardous communication training annually.
If you do not see a piece of required training in your My Courses listing please contact Sarah Gray to have the course added. sarah.gray@maryland.gov or robin.melton@maryland.gov
The Park Service also offers classroom based training on various topics. You may access our current training calendar from the MPS Training Webpage.
